Adelide is Kayla Schwartz’s singer/songwriter project. While her background is in expressing other people’s stories through the Great American Songbook, Adelide gives her the opportunity to tell her own.

 

Having lived in three major US cities in the past decade, Kayla’s music reflects a multitude of life experiences that come from never feeling quite grounded in one place. With each move came new sounds, new people, love, and heartbreak, and throughout this, Adelide has steadily grown into her primary artistic outlet for grappling with these constants of change.
